This project addresses the growing need for sustainable waste management by developing an automated system for identifying and classifying recyclable materials using computer vision and artificial intelligence. The solution comprises two main components: a full-stack web application (WasteVisionWeb) that allows users to upload images for real-time classification, and a comprehensive educational repository (WasteVision-AI) designed to facilitate the training and development of AI models. The primary goal is to promote a circular economy and environmental education by providing a practical, scalable, and accessible tool for use in educational and community settings.
