The EcoBarrier – Smart Water Level Control System is a smart monitoring and control system designed using Raspberry Pi 5. The system measures water level using an ultrasonic sensor and automatically controls a barrier mechanism using a micro servo motor.
When the water level rises above a defined threshold, the system lifts the barrier to simulate a flood protection mechanism. When the water level returns to normal, the barrier is lowered again.
The system provides real-time feedback through multiple visual indicators:
- OLED display shows system status and water level.
- 4-digit display (TM1637) shows the measured distance numerically.
- RGB LED indicates the safety status using colours.This project demonstrates how sensors, actuators, and embedded systems can be combined to create an automated environmental monitoring solution.
